Since its founding in 1992, with its international headquarters in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Advocates International (AI) has grown to be an international network of more than 30,000 like-minded lawyers, judges, law professors, law students and related legal professionals in over 150 nations united by common set of core values. AI seeks to do justice with compassion, working individually or through its six Global Task Forces protecting religious freedom, defending the sanctity of life, restoring social peace through reconciliation, preserving marriage and family in civil society, advancing equal justice and human rights for the poor, and maintaining the rule of law against government corruption. AI is organized into six regions: Advocates North America (Canada, USA and non-Spanish-speaking Caribbean nations), Advocates Latin America, Advocates Europe, Advocates Africa, Advocates Asia and Advocates Oceania (Australia & New Zealand) Under the terms of its international agreement, AI is governed by a 22-member Global Council that is composed representatives from each of AI’s regions, as well as four-members from AI’s Board of Directors . AI has received Ministry Watch’s highest five-star rating and is a current member in good-standing of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.

AI’s advocacy activities include the provision of legal counsel and public legal education to government officials, courts, legislatures, religious organizations, and individuals who face the broad variety of legal matters AI’s Global Task Forces exist to address globally. AI’s associational activities include seminars and training conferences on alternative conflict resolution and relational reconciliation, the defense of religious liberty, defending the right to life under law, protecting marriage and family under law, protecting the human rights of the poor under law, professional integrity and legal ethics, and Christian calling and the legal profession.

AI is not a recipient of government funding and is solely dependent upon the financial contributions of those who believe in its mission, thereby enabling it to serve "clients" ranging from heads of state seeking to implement constitutional reforms to persecuted and imprisoned believers sentenced to death for their faith. We are most grateful and thank you for whatever financial support or voluntary service you can provide in support of AI’s mission. Here’s how you can help:

1. If you are in a position to help Advocates on a professional basis in any given country or region, please contact us.

2. Your gifts of law books and related materials are needed to build law libraries in countries transitioning from totalitarian systems to open democratic societies.

3. Tell your friends and colleagues about Advocates, particularly those who may be concerned about religious liberty, sanctity of life, the rule of law, justice for the poor, peace and reconciliation, or preservation of marriage and family in civil society.

4. Pray for opportunities, wisdom, and resources enabling Advocates to promote its mission worldwide.

5. Your financial gifts to Advocates are tax-deductible. You can contribute on-line. Checks and other gifts should be mailed to:
